Ackerson Construction Company in 1909 and depicts how Ackerson used the “commuter pitch” to attract new homebuilders and property seekers. Laid out in these pages is Ackerson’s original vision for Brightwaters; the three sections are highlighted Lakes, Pines, and Bay, plus original photographs and descriptions of the facilities that were part of the Brightwaters’ lifestyle when it originated in 1907.   |
